Looking discover a fun new activity to do together as a family?

Discover Archery is a new program designed for youth (10+) and adults who have little or no experience with archery. This is a step up from our camp programs, and each participant will be introduced to shooting a compound bow equipped with a sight, a rest and peep while learning to use a release aid. Throughout the program we will teach each participant proper shooting form and technique along with range safety, in a fun and encouraging environment. Parents are invited to participate alongside their kids, making this a great opportunity to learn a new sport, spend time together, and have fun as a family!

This is a 6 week program that will begin on Monday, September 28th and end on Monday, November 2nd from 6:00-7:30pm. We will play lots of fun games and have a short weekly devotion together!

No prior archery experience is necessary to participate, and we will provide all the equipment needed for the program. Each participant will use a compound bow that is fitted specifically to them to help ensure they have the right equipment to learn and grow. We would like to extend a special thank you to the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation for their generous support in helping make this new program possible for our local youth and families.

The cost is $55 per person. Children must be in at least 4th grade during the 2026 school year to participate. Please register each individual who is participating.

We are excited to start a new season of our Archery Team!

On Target’s Archery team will be focused on developing skills, preparing for tournaments, and enjoying the competitive side of archery.

Practices will begin the first week of November on Tuesday the 3rd and Thursday the 5th. This is for students who are 8 - 18 years of age who have their own compound bow (these should include sights and a rest and need to be capable of shooting 10-20 yards accurately).

To accommodate our growing team, we will be offering two practice nights each week, Tuesday and Thursday. Each participant will choose one night to attend regularly. We ask families to register for either Tuesday or Thursday so we can keep the groups balanced. However, we understand that schedules can change, so if you have a conflict on your regular practice night, you are welcome to attend the other practice night that week.

The format for our practices will be:

• 6:00-7:00 PM Form / Technique / Shooting

• 7:05-7:25 PM Break for Snack & Devotion

• 7:30 -8:00 PM. Game / Challenge / Mini-Tournament

Open Ranges practice times will be available on Wednesday nights from 6-8pm (only in October) and Saturday mornings from 10am-noon, if participants want to practice shooting more.

We will plan to participate in the National Field Archery Association, Ohio Archers Association and S3DA tournaments being held in January through April. For kids to earn medals/awards for the tournaments they must become a member of the NFAA and/or S3DA, however this is not required to be on the team and they can shoot as a guest instead if they don’t have the membership. Several of these are considered “mail in” tournaments so while we will be competing with kids from all over the state, we will host and shoot these tournaments at our range in Findlay. There will be a few tournaments that will require travel, but every tournament is optional based on your family’s schedule.

This program is for ages 8-18. The cost is $275 per participant and this will include a team jersey, unlimited number of targets to be used during practice, coaching, bow repairs and adjustments.

New to this year is our Archery Club!

The club is designed for kids who may not be interested in the competitive side of archery but still want to shoot, have fun, and make new friends. While still providing good coaching, it will be a more relaxed environment where kids can learn and improve their skills while enjoying different games, challenges, and activities.

Archery Club will take place on Monday nights from 6pm-7:30pm starting on November 9th and going through December 28th.

Each night there will be some instruction, a fun game/challenge, and a short devotion.

This program will be for ages 8-18, the cost is $100 and take place at our indoor archery range at 3246 US 224, McComb, OH, 45858.
